The 4NCL will be holding its first team and individual rapidplay championships on 9-10 October 2010 for which entries are invited from all interested teams and players. The team championship held on the Saturday and the individual championship on the Sunday. Winners will hold the title of 4NCL Team and Individual Rapidplay Champion respectively for 2010/2011. The 4NCL are guaranteeing a prize fund of at least £2,000 for the weekend.

Hopefully both the format, the time control (10 minutes + 5 second increment per game) and the time of year (a month before the start of the new 4NCL season) will prove attractive.
